Thoughtfully designed by classic game lovers, we make every board from natural materials in our Oregon workshop. Popular since ancient Mesopotamian times, we hope you enjoy our modern travel version.
We designed our Travel Backgammon Board to be played on bumpy rides and stashed securely in small pockets, bike bags, glove boxes, and backpacks. It's perfect for a game on the airplane/train, waiting at a restaurant, or in a hiking shelter on the trail.
We can also monogram it for a personalized piece and thoughtful gifts.

HOW TO PLAY BACKGAMMON
New to backgammon? It's fun and easy to learn! Our board design includes several prompts to make learning easy and quick: there are prompts in the gutters for how many pegs to set up in each triangle at set-up, and arrows showing the flow of play (clockwise / counter-clockwise) for Players A and B.
We include a printed quick start guide along with a folding score card to get you started with every purchase. Print more scorecards on our page.

MONOGRAMMING
Yes! The leather can be monogrammed with up to 4 characters using our 1/4" brass alphabet set. Monogramming can add to the turnaround time. Typical monogram shown in the photos.
